Kristy Horine is a Christian, wife, mother, keeper of home and chickens, baker of bread, and a writer. She is a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers since 2018 where she currently serves as the Ohio Valley Zone 10 Director. She served on the Kentucky Christian Writers Conference Planning Committee as Publicity Chairman and then on the Executive Board from 2016 to 2021. She rejoined the KCWC Planning Committee in May of 2023. 

Kristy is multi-published in regional newspapers, magazines, and anthologies. Her newspaper writing has been recognized with a KPA award; her poetry and short stories have won numerous contests through the years, and her work was honored as a finalist in the ACFW First Impressions Contest.

She makes her home in Paris, Kentucky with her husband Eric and their Number Four child still living at home. Her desire is to be found faithful with her writing and her life.
